Health and Nutrition Consultant

Karin immigrated to New Zealand in 1987 with her family from Germany, where she had been trained as a health and nutrition consultant. Through cooking classes, talks and seminars Karin teaches adults and children to eat their food as fresh, whole and unprocessed as possible in order to experience greater health and energy.
In 1984, Karin's husband was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis with no prospects of healing. It was at this time that she got interested in finding out whether there is a connection between food and diseases. The whole family changed to a natural, health supporting way of eating, her husband's condition greatly improved and he has been free from any symptoms for many years.
In 1987 Karin obtained a certificate as a "Health Adviser" from the German Society of Health Advice, called GGB, Lahnstein, founded by Dr. O. Bruker. The aim of this non-profit, independent society, GGB, is to inform the public about the causes of food-related diseases. Their knowledge and training is based on the scientific works of Professor Kollath, Dr. Bircher-Benner, Weston A. Price, Katase and others. The truth of their research was confirmed through Dr. Bruker's clinical work experiences of over 60 years.
Karin is a self-employed independent Nutrition Consultant. She is not sponsored by any company and does not sell vitamin-, protein-, food-supplements or weight-loss products. She chooses not to eat or drink anything that is heavily advertised. Check it out: when did you last see an ad for wheat-grains, carrots, apples or almonds?
To make the transition to a healthy way of eating smooth, simple and easy, Karin wrote the work- and cookbook
"NUTRITION AWARENESS - TEN STEPS TO HEALTHY EATING".
